Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking and Payment Terms

Booking Confirmation:

A 50% security deposit is required to confirm the booking date.
The remaining 50% is due within 3 days from the completion of the service. If the final payment is not received by this deadline, an 8% late fee will be applied to the outstanding balance.

Cancellation Terms

Cancellation by Client:
- All deposits are non-refundable. This policy ensures that the chef's time and effort in preparation are compensated.
- Holiday Bookings: If the client cancels within 120 days of the scheduled event, the full charge for the services will apply and the client will be responsible for 100% of the total service cost.
- All Other Bookings: If the client cancels within 90 days of the scheduled event, the full charge for the services will apply and the client will be responsible for 100% of the total service cost.
Rescheduling:
- Rescheduling of services is dependent upon the discretion of the chef. Any request to change the date or time of an event will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be treated as a cancellation if rescheduling is not feasible.
Cancellation by Chef:
- In the unlikely event that the chef must cancel, the client will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the security deposit. The chef will also make every effort to refer the client to another qualified chef to fulfill the service.

Force Majeure

Neither the client nor the chef shall be liable for any failure to perform their obligations under this agreement if such failure is due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of war, terrorist activities, government sanctions, or natural disasters. In such events, all deposits and payments will be refunded in full, or the service will be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date.

Agreement and Acknowledgment

By confirming a booking with The Drifting Chef LLC, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.
